There's a patient consistency at the heart of Alexander Berg's work as Dorisburg. The Swedish producer has made countless EPs and one album over the past six years, and put simply, each one is something to be proud of. He solely releases on labels run by his friends - the Swedish labels Aniara Recordings, Bossmusik and Northern Electronics, as well as Hivern Discs, who handled the release of his debut full-length, Irrbloss. Berg's is devoting himself to music in every moment of his spare time and is a producer who's in it for the long haul. As RA's Carlos Hawthorn says, "If making music weren't his job, he'd be doing it anyway."
Speaking of Bossmusik, label boss Johanna Schneider will play a rare set here at Culture Box. She is now based in Copenhagen but still takes care of Under Bron in the Swedish capital next to running her successful label. To round of the all-Swedish Black Box lineup we bring Joel Alter from True Rotary Recordings. He also has fresh bomb releases on DRED Records and Bass Culture Records as well as releases under his Jor-El moniker on BROR Records and Be As one.
ANNÆLIX is a Copenhagen based techno & house DJ and electronic music-maker, home-made creator and organiser of Folkets Haus. Her sets are playful and varies from chilled daytime tunes through to dark late night basement sounds. She plays in Red Box with Katz-K from Malmö who is part of the Pommes 94 collective. A DJ and a longtime raver, with an ass superior track selection and a guaranteed groovy style of deep/tech house, minimal and Melodic sounds.
