As the clubbing landscape evolves and shifts towards monster venues with increasingly large line-ups and festival levels of production, we risk losing touch with what makes underground dance music events so great. The essence of what got us hooked in the first place.
Maybe it’s time to get back to basics. Clubbing at its heart is a very simple experience… a place where the energy of a DJ set takes over the crowd, and you lose yourself with like minded individuals on a dark intimate dancefloor.
This year will see SlothBoogie hosting 4 parties as part of a ‘Basement Series’ at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington, London… an attempt to re-address the balance with some of the best selectors in the business.
