For our next get down, we’re back with another long-awaited BK debut and with the same Nails Room / Wax Room format that worked so well at our anniversary party.
Taking the reigns in the Nails Room — in her first ever BK gig — will be the incomparable REKA. Tresor resident for the last half decade and a permanent fixture on Khidi’s stellar rotation, REKA is one of the most technically adept, punishing, and yet wide-ranging djs in Berlin today. With the cerebral qualities you’d expect from a former geneticist and a tenebrous, dystopian bent, she’ll keep at it hammer and nails late into the morning.
Supporting REKA in the Nails Room will be Haruka, who sparked it off for us properly in December, and PulseWidthMod, whose all hardware sets dexterously combine both darkness and light. Mr. Nails will get things started with some moody vinyl cuts.
In the Wax Room, resident doli B will serve up some eccentric left field fare, while deep-digger Andres Tavio will bring a crate of his finest. Mr. Wax will be back from his most recent European sojourn with a bag full of dankness.
Sound will be proper, and we’ll be going in both rooms until morning.
