Samantha Nicole (PH)
With a sound oscillating seamlessly between techno, electro, acid, breaks and dipping into funk, house, world, indie and disco flavours, it’s little surprise that she is one of the most respected and sought after DJ’s in the Philippines burgeoning scene.
A resident at Manila’s quality underground club: XX XX, the young tastemaker has recently played at Circus Osaka and shared the stage with the likes of Objekt, Answer code Request, Bicep, Stefan Goldmann to name a few. She also co-hosts Tektonik: a monthly night dedicated to underground dance music.
Michael Yume (UK)
A South London DJ, Michael Yumé cut his teeth in the nascent mid-2000s dubstep and pirate radio scene. His musical outlook shifted after amassing a wealth of house and techno knowledge whilst working at the legendary London-party secret sundaze and the booking agency NGE.
As one of the co-founders of Yumé Records, Michael Yumé has been the A&R brains behind some of the most idiosyncratic dance floor records released in recent years which have gained the attention of Four Tet, Jamie xx, Ben UFO and a number of BBC Radio 1 DJs.
Rocco Universal (UK)
Born in Italy, raised in the UK, and currently lost in a haze of psychedelic rhythms somewhere in Bangkok (via Tokyo), Rocco Universal (real name Patrizio Cavaliere) has been crate-digging and playing records for two decades. His passion for all kinds of good music spawned an enthusiasm for analogue synthesisers and retro producton techniques which he's been diligently honing in the studio in recent years.
