TURBO ISLAND EASTER WEEKENDER

And on the fourth day they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord. For he was risen and headed down to Sameheads, to enjoy the delights of the Turbo Island Easter bash!
Or so the story goes. We may never know for sure if the Lord is a fan of Turbo Island, but one thing we do know is that come Eastertime we will have been pumping out tat into the world for a full five years. Tees, sweats, prints, hats, badges and all other manner of bits and bobs – you name it, Turbo Island have tried to sell that shit to you! And along the way we've somehow befriended some top musical types. Some of whom are a dab hand at spinning tunes. So what better way to mark the occasion than a good ol' fashioned knees-up with some of our favourites, at one of our favourite clubs:
Orpheu The Wizard – co-founder of Amsterdam's most voluptuous sex window - Red Light Radio - this man knows a thing or two about otherworldly club nuggets and how to thrash a dancefloor with them. Now a regular globetrotter thanks to his clever style of Djing and mega collection, Orpheu also shares our love for making things looks nice, being the in-house designer for the Dekmantel crew. Back in 2017 we made a visit to the radio and designed some clobber for it, so thought it apt to ship him over to play pass-the-parcel with us.
Bullion – another bloke we did some tees for. Bullion is one of our favourite UK producer-DJs whose performances fit the Turbo Island peg-hole perfectly, having stuck his mucky fingers in various pop pies (working with David Byrne, Sampha, The Pop Group and more) and served up dancier numbers on the likes of R&S, Whities and the Trilogy Tapes. His famous sea shanty 'Blue Pedro' and radio shows are staples at Turbo HQ and we look forward to him opening the party with his exciting arsenal of “Pop Not Slop”.
Rocky Newman b2b Satsumas – The man formerly known as Newport's most Balearic taxi driver. Now a resident DJ at Bristol's most rockin' clubnight (DIRTYTALK), we thought it was about time he unleashed his tasty disco and house tackle on Berlin. His hairy young understudy Charlie (Satsumas Bristol Inc.) will be accompanying him if he can get the time off his paper round.
As if this musical menagerie wasn't enough, we'll be decorating the gaff with Turbo visuals and serving Turbo punch to make you more suggestible to the special merch we'll be shamelessly pedalling with reckless abandon. Free Turbo Island stationary to the first 50 through the door. Holy Moly this will be one eggstravgant Easter affair - miss at your utmost peril!
