Time flies when you’re living E-FUNKy. The House Of EFUNK was born 6 years ago this May at TV Lounge in Detroit and has blossomed into Soul Clap & Paxahau’s most official Movement afterparty. There will certainly be no slowing down in 2019; on Saturday, May 25th Soul Clap is at it again with another 12+ hour Motor City get-down that also celebrates the launch of House of EFUNK Records.
This years headlining acts continue to dig deep into The Clap’s curation magic welcoming LIVE performances from Dopplereffekt (LIVE), Detroit native Piranahead (LIVE) , legendary house vocalists Sha-Lor (LIVE PA) performing “Im In Love” and forthcoming music on Soul Clap Records, and Chicago Smart Bar Queen! resident Garret David (LIVE). Then on the DJ tip joining the Boston boys (Soul Clap that is) will be NYC Body & Soul founder Joe Claussell, Dirtybird’s very own Justin Martin, TAG (aka Scott Grooves & Norm Talley), Detroit Techno heavyweight Stacey Pullen, DJ Holographic, Visionquest visionary Lee Curtiss, NYC hero Justin Strauss, Chicago’s finest DJ Heather, Detroit homegrown Dan Bain and Punisher and a special DnB sets from Soul Clap’s own Bamboozle and Pull Up J. Yes thats a lot, but of course theres more in the form of a very secret Special Guest, can you guess who?!?!
Then last by no means near least, as you gaze around the party let your senses heighten to the Digital Dreamscapes of Miami based visual artist Natasha Tomchin who’s work, energy and enthusiasm has without a doubt elevated the EFUNK experience.
