Our first installation will feature a live set from Phax Machine.
Phax Machine is a collaboration between Sydney-based producers Trinity and Analogue Resistance, who were brought together by their love of acid, techno and unrefined electro.
With decades of experience in live music, DJing, composition and production between them, Trinity and AR’s highly honed skills and creative vision converge for this live project characterised by tough breakbeats, cascading synth melodies, tweaking acid and propulsive peaktime bass and rhythm.
Musically diverse and open, smart and experimental, yet tight and dedicated to the groove – Phax Machine transmits mind-expanding audio science and a pulsating dancefloor experience.
What makes Phax Machine unique is their fresh new spin on classic rave music, born out of years of passion and experimentation; and the infectious energy of their performances, which brings listeners back to the fun and discovery of an era when subgenres didn’t limit electronic artistry and dancers embraced thrilling new sounds in many forms.
