For its second event this month HRBR welcomes DJ Kent, half of Japanese duo Force Of Nature and also known for his solo project The Backwoods.
Young talent Anh Vy and veteran DJ Ouch! will warm the place up for this long night of dancing.
DJ KENT (Force Of Nature, The Backwoods / JP)
DJ Kent is DJ/producer of Force of Nature (KZA & DJ Kent) who are presently pioneering new techniques and concept of breakbeat. He is creating music using his huge records collection based on his background experience as hip-hop artist.
His original selection of music and a dramatic development held the audience spellbound. Besides three original albums as Force of Nature, he has released a 12 inch single "In the Bush" on Bear Entertainment (UK), and formed a unit called "Garalude" with musicians like Hiroshi Kawanabe and Noriyoshi Sasanuma.
He also produced music as Force of Nature with Nujabes, Fat Jon ,Tutchie and Afra for "Samurai Champloo," which is a Japanese anime directed by Shinichiro Watanabe who is known as a directer of "Cowboy Bebop" and "Animatrix."
In 2010 he released is new solo project: "The Backwoods" album. The songs have been played played by DJ HARVEY, Francious.K, Andrew Weatherall, Eric.D to name a few.
He remixed for the artists such as I-Boat Captain (Is it Balearic..?), Kaoru Inoue (SEEDS AND GROUND), Ryoma Takemasa (UNKNOWN season), Land of Light (ESP Institute), Eddie C (Crue-L), Man Power (Not An Animal), Komodo (CockTail d’Amore) and many others.
ANH VY (HRBR, The Observatory / VN)
Recently announced as Observatory's resident, Anh Vy is one of the youngest DJs in the Saigon underground scene. He's recognised by the versatility and flexibility in music. As time goes by, he making himself as an interesting and promising piece of Saigon underground scene as an arstist and a contributor with his very own uniqueness.

DJ OUCH! (HRBR, Heart Beat / CH)
Hailing from Neuchâtel, Switzerland, Dj Ouch! started to play records in the late 90s. Moving to Madrid in 2000, he discovered deep house and techno and naturally started digging these styles in the numerous records shops of the city.
Travelling back to Switzerland in 2001 he attended SAE in Geneva until 2003 and started producing deep house, D&B and hip hop. He founded the Swiss drum and bass crew 'Insane Drumsounds' with DJs and musicians and started his collaboration with the label Urban Sound alongside residencies in various bars and clubs.
He moved to Saigon, Vietnam in 2012 where he is now regularly spinning tunes in venues such as The Observatory, The Lighthouse, Broma.
He started a collaboration with Heart Beat and co-founded HRBR (Harbour Saigon) in 2016.
