On Saturday 24th August, Secretsundaze celebrate a very special date, our 18th Birthday, with another epic Day and Night party at Oval Space.
Headlining the Birthday, very much the icing on the cake, we are very proud to announce that the one and only Floating Points will be joining us. The UK based heavyweight has created some of the most original and iconic dance music out there over the last 10 years which draws on jazz, funk and soul through to house and techno and continues to trail blaze a musical path.
Stepping up for their UK debut at the party we have Chaos In The CBD. The inseparable brothers are a musical force to be reckoned with and a barrel of laughs to boot! Their killer releases on the likes of Rhythm Section, Mule Musiq and their own in Dust We Trust Imprint; combined with DJ sets that show a maturity beyond their tender years has propelled them to play some of the very best clubs worldwide.
Our old school London friend (now Berlin based), Panorama Bar resident Lakuti will play, as will the Floating Points hotly tipped DJ JNETT from Melbourne - this will be her European debut no less! London based DJ crews and party starters Heels & Souls and Tokyo Fantasy will also join us on this special summers day and night and to round it all off, Secretsundaze will of course play to their beloved faithful.
Someone recently commented to Giles and James that Secretsundaze is nearly an adult! Most party and club brands rarely reach their 10th birthday let alone their 18th. The Secretsundaze bus keeps on truckin', winning new fans along the way while keeping our devoted, hard-core crew happy.
So, we have a Bank Holiday weekend with two days off after to recover, Oval Space with two terraces in all its glory, natural daylight and a phenomenal line up to boot. The scene is set!
