We are back at Canavan's for another Dusty Groove. Every month we are bringing special guests down to headline alongside our residents. This month we welcome Matt Masters to the decks.
Finding a love for house music at an early age, Matt Masters started working for Freerange Records in early 2004. With his unique sound Matt has been djing globally and at many UK parties. He has enjoyed a Freerange Records residency at The End and held his Wayward parties alongside Norm De Plume in East London. In addition to his DJ gigs, Matt hosts the bi-weekly Freerange Records Radioshow with Jimpster.
As for his solo production endeavours, Matt has had success with many releases on labels such as Freerange, Dirt Crew, Saw and Brown Eyed BoyZ and has been fortunate to have the likes of Milton Jackson and Soul Minority remix his productions in the past. A new Freerange album due out later this year will feature some of his latest work.
Matt has been described as “fast becoming a force to be reckoned with” and Jimpster has described some of his productions as “Excellent tracks full of originality and deep, dancefloor friendly loveliness”. We really look forward to having him down.
