Transcendent and Radiant: vulnerable and free, rising up through light, never ashamed, never afraid: Forgiven and Loved, Safe. What does Paradise mean?
We are told that humankind was kicked out of paradise because of Eve’s desire for knowledge, that there is something unclean in the human’s yearning to want to know, to learn, to evolve.
We are told we are born from original sin, that we are all inherently bad, and that to save we must first bow down and sacrifice, or burn forever in hell. We will never be good enough, constantly failing, striving to reach a heaven that only exists when we die.
We reject the idea of sin, of the failed human forever flawed and weak, forever not-deserving. We reject the idea of an unobtainable other-world Paradise where only the pure are allowed access.
We welcome you to a new world.
A world where all our imperfections are seen for what they truly are: the stories of our humanness, our diversity, and our power. We celebrate our right to be true to who we are: the good and the bad, the ugly and the beautiful, the weak and the strong, unencumbered by false gods and scriptures.
We reject the control of the institutional beliefs and create a paradise where we allow what is inside us, our creativity and beauty, our failures and our weakness, our strengths and our desires, those clean and unclean, to shine bright without fear, forever in the light of love and acceptance.
Come shine for us, allow all of who you are to be set free and join us as we create our own Paradise.
