Some of what they say about 69 is pish, some of its just plain nonsense, suffice to say, any fan or producer of music ranging from disco to house to techno and beyond worth their dancing boots would have been along during the 90s - 00s - originally held in a basement club under a restaurant in Paisley, now known as Club 69, 69 are back there for a one off special.
'69 at Club 69' and it’ll be with Martin Mckay and Euan on DJ duties and a belter of a guest - John Heckle doing a live set. It’s been a good wee while since we have been at the club so we’ll have some new records to play and for sure bit of tomorrows music today. Get doon.
If you don’t know John Heckle he’s an electronic producer and DJ from Liverpool, who pisses fire. He produces some of the UK's leading-edge techno and electronica. John is an amazing live performer and he’s putting together something special for his first show at 69. His sound embraces all of the right elements of house and techno, retaining the melodies and percussion you would expect but with a raw and industrial edge.
