Als Host seiner neuen Party Reihe Hi-Res widmet sich Sebastian Voigt den etwas dunkleren Sounds - Techno, Electro, Breakbeats, Acid House, Wave, trippy Disco - alle zwei Monate auf drei Floors in der Renate.
Für den Startschuss sind mit dem Schweden Cari Lekebusch und dem Schotten Neil Landstrumm direkt zwei absolute Techno-Legenden mit dabei. Besonderer Wert wird außerdem auf Upcoming-Artists gelegt, wie beispielweise den schwer google-baren Kopenhagener DJ Tool, Teil der Fast Forward Crew und Macher der erfolgreichen Mala Junta Parties in Berlin - schneller, grooviger Techno gemischt mit Oldschool Trance. Tessuto aus Sao Paulo ist bekannt für tolle DJ sets zwischen House und Techno, die er auch gern mal in voller Drag-Montur spielt, und ist mit seiner Party Carlos Capslock ein Pionier der dortigen Warehouse Rave Szene. Dazu runden der Berliner Omnidisc Künstler Shokh, Cocktail D'Amour Resident Juan Ramos, Kristiina Männikkö vom Helsinkier Club Kaiku und der Brasilianer Lagoeiro das Linup ab.
Sebastian Voigt is pursuing the slightly darker sounds as the host for this new party series Hi-Res - Techno, Electro, Breakbeats, Acid House, Wave, the trippier side of Disco - taking over all three floors of Wilde Renate every two months.
For the first edition we are excited to have two bonafide techno legends are on board: Cari Lekebusch from Sweden, who is known for his trippy driving productions and Dj sets, and Neil Landstrumm from Scotland who will bring his bleepy bass heavy sound in form of a live set. A special focus is also on up and coming artists, like the hard-to-google DJ Tool, part of the Fast Forward Crew out of Copenhagen and resident of the like minded Mala Junta Parties in Berlin - fast and groovy techno mixed with old school trance. Tessuto from Brazil is famous for playing great DJ sets between house and techno while dressed in full drag, as well as for being one of the pioneers of the booming warehouse rave scene in Sao Paulo with his infamous Carlos Capslock parties. Fellow Brazilian Lagoeiro, Kristiina Männikö from Kaiku Club in Helsinki, Omnidisc regular Shokh and Cocktail D´Amore resident Juan Ramos are completing the lineup.
