Having surpassed our wildest expectations for a debut event back in April, we're returning to the cage at Grow for another sermon of hardcore that'll compel you to pump your fist in the air and not give a fuck if anyone's watching as you do it. DJ's on the lineup are tasked with answering the following question with their set: “What does rave music sound like now / what might it sound like 50 years from today?”
Rave
n. any gathering of people centred around listening to and dancing to electronic music, as played by a set of live djs. Originated in 1989 in the UK as underground, often illegal gatherings in abandoned warehouses. Often characterised by the positive, psychedelic atmosphere.
Litany
n. part of a church service in which the priest says a set group of words and the people reply, also using a set group of words.
