Bicep join our XX celebrations. We’ve been fans of the Belfast duo for a number of years now – before they’d ever stopped by EC1, we were already close followers of their much-loved Feel My Bicep blog. The website, along with their label under the same name, famously propelled them to the forefront of the UK’s electronic music scene, and by the time they joined us for the first time in 2012, they’d already built a dedicated fanbase. In the years since then they’ve become one of dance music’s most distinguished duos, as beloved for their euphoric rave bangers as they are their killer performances behind the decks and on the live stage. Over the years their work has dropped on some of electronic music’s most celebrated imprints, most notably Ninja Tune – the UK powerhouse and home of their eponymous debut LP. This November, they return to the Room One booth for a special Sunday all-dayer in Farringdon as part of our 20th anniversary, flanked by a producer with promise who recently made his mark on Bicep’s own label, Cromby.
