Let the Love Flow NYC - Ft. Alex Bau, Ace Alvarez, Subfratcal

  • The official Loveparade event comes to NYC with a special limited capacity event celebrating the release of the charity compilation "Let The Love Flow" which also featured some US techno artists this year teaming up with other international electronic music producers. Besides of keeping up the idea of the Loveparade and it’s music, this CD was set up for a good cause: profits will be used to support an organization that officially cares for the victims of 2010`s Loveparade accident in Germany. The compilation is available as CD and digitally incl. stores like ITunes (https://music.apple.com/de/album/let-the-love-flow/1460039675) or Beatport (https://www.beatport.com/release/let-the-love-flow/2560525). The Loveparade and its basic idea of connecting people with music as a universal language for creating an atmosphere of love, peace and harmony will take place at Socceroof in Brooklyn and will feature a fine selection of internationally established quality underground techno artists who will select the right soundtrack for a unique event, hosted by De-Konstrukt in cooperation with Trilogy. 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬/𝐃𝐣𝐬: 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐁𝐚𝐮 (Credo/ De) Germany's very own Alex Bau is making his way to New York City for the big night. This fascination for records, starting in the mid 80ies as a collector, and later on in the early 90ies as a DJ still is the a factor for Alex, though his setup on gigs has evolved to a rather complex, digital one. Though, the music is the only thing that counts. This is what Alex approves throughout his constant touring and gigs around the globe. It`s filtered by the DJ, performed in different ways, maybe even manipulated. But it`s the music which has the impact on the visitors of the club or festival so that their reaction scales the intensity of this particular experience. It ́s the music which is the key element for a good performace and which has to be supported by a good, powerful soundsystem, a fitting surrounding and the technical way it is performed. Equal to the formula „the whole party is like a movie and while the people on the dancefloor are the mainactors, I am just delivering the soundtrack.“ This exactly is Alex Bau`s credo. Not hard to find the connection to the name of his label. And it does not only apply to his DJ performances. His numerous productions on labels like Cocoon, previously also on CLR or Sleaze any many more, but mainly on Credo, perfectly reflect the idea of creating the tension by quality and subtile change and progress which is needed to finally bring something to explode. 𝐀𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐳 (Unrilis / Sleaze) New York City based DJ & producer Ace Alvarez has become one of the more recognizable names in electronic music within the last decade.Priding himself on creating a unique musical experience with an intense and relentless vibe. Growing up in Queens, New York, Ace Alvarez was inherently surrounded by diverse genres of music; from the latin vibes that were an integral part of his Argentine family’s lifestyle to the mainstream hip hop that populated the local airwaves. The eclectic grooves infused creativity in young Ace, and would serve as the musical foundation that would culminate in the aspiring DJ/Producer he is today. Ace’s production has been supported globally throughout the music world. Played by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Sam Paganini, Black Madonna to name a few. His impeccable rhythm serves as a catalyst in creating a distinctive techno sound that resonates to the feel of the respective crowd. 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐥 (Dekonstrukt) Subfractal’s brand of brooding, driving, beautifully dark minimal techno has been propelling them up the ranks of the electronic music scene with breakneck speed. Their music has reached international audiences through releases on well-respected labels like Harthouse, Excentric Muzik, Sleaze Records, Bosphorus Underground, Respekt Recordings, Frequenza, Brood Audio, CODE, Piso Records, Klimaks, Airbus, Teggno, Inminimax and many others. With support from industry heavyweights like Alex Bau, Slam, Umek, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Spektre, Fergie, Hernan Cattaneo, Phunk Investigation, Raiz, Drumcell, Audio Injection, Noir, MarcAntonio and so many more, it’s no surprise that Subfractal’s releases routinely appear in the upper echelons of countless techno and minimal charts. 𝐆𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐢 (Trilogy NYC) Giovani, under the name of Switch, started his Dj career in 2000, 3 years after he won the Human Pattern and The Riddle DJ contest in 2003, then had his first residency in a small underground club called "Subroyal" in Bogotá, Colombia. He was playing all sorts of music from Electro,Techno, Tech‐house to Breaks. Spinning in the most popular clubs in Colombia's capital city, Bogota like Monitor, Barbarella, Arena, La Sala, 4Rooms and more ‐ this got the attention of Ultrabass collective whom in 2004 invited him to play at the Bogotraxx Festival which is a self‐funded independent festival with the objective to spread electronic art and music to the different sectors of Bogotá with free concerts and workshops. This festival has the participation of Djs from Germany and more European countries like France where this festival was celebrated simultaneously.
