Well it seems like forever, but its only been 5 years since we started up Something Else..... and its been a bit of a wide ride, 3 different venues for our weekly parties, countless events, heap of great international guests...... and most importantly.... lots and lots and lots of fantastic local talent.
The last year has seen us focus more and more on our wonderful array of local talent that we have in Sydney..... so for our 5th Birthday we've invite one of the best local crews to join us to celebrate.
Roots have been one of the two major driving forces in Sydney's underground scene over the last two years, with their secret park parties being mythically wonderful.... so is with absolutely enormous pleasure with welcome them to share our 5th bday party with us.
Repping the roots crew for the evening with have super producer; Venda, the mexican who mexidid; variancé and the man with the grand designs; Nikola.
On the Something Else front, bossman Dave Stuart and his dub apprentice; A.Lias are laying down the foundations early for for some deep dub & minimal.
