At home, we'd heard whispers of the new "best club in Australia". After a brief visit in June, we were blown away. It's our privilege to deliver our first out-of-state event, from Melbourne-to-Canberra, bringing everything you know and love about the Cool Room experience to a temporary new home!

Now based in Melbourne after 4 years in Canberra, she's ready to make a triumphant homecoming for a limited time with maximum dance floor impact!

DJ Scorpion is the solo project of Amelia Jenner, Music Director of FBi Radio, label boss and radio host of cult Australian electronic label Body Promise and co-founder of the NECTAR agency. One of the most knowledgable musical minds in Australia's electronic music landscape, she's a highly versatile and adaptable DJ. Expect anything from dub and dancehall to kuduro, bass, dubstep, jungle, breaks, electro, trippy house and techno. Catch her peak-time slot at Sideway before she jets across the Nullabor to light up Freedom Time festival.

Whether it’s playing an all-night ambient snuggle-in or a surging warehouse rave, DJ and Cool Room organiser Anuraag always considers context in their approach to each set. Guided by an affinity for complex rhythm and hi-tech sound design, their selections spiral across bass, electro, and techno all the way through to footwork, jungle, dubstep, UKG, ballroom and club. With recent support slots for DJ Sprinkles, Mama Snake and Nazira and appearances at the Soft Centre After Party and on London's NTS Radio, Raag is emerging from their shell as a DJ and ready to keep growing into their final form.

Sideway is not wheelchair accessible with one long flight of stairs to climb and no wheelchair accessible toilet. There are numerous seating areas with good sound and visibility of the dancefloor.
