In order to wreck havoc with banging techno downstairs, we’re bringing you two of Sweden's finest: Lego from Stockholm and Dan Darco from Malmø, and also two of our Tunghør residents! 🔥
Upstairs, we've carefully picked out a local lineup, that will take you on a more melodic journey into the morning hours. 🖤 Let’s put the Funktion-One soundsystems, and your cardio, to the test!
✚ L e g o ✚
When Lego had just turned 16, the Swedish duo 'The Knife' released their album 'Deep Cuts' with the track 'Pass this on' which enchanted her and brought her into the world of electronic music. Since then she has explored the techno scene both in Sweden and worldwide, which inspired her to start doing underground raves such as Stockholm based 'Funny Bunny' and .WAV, and also later on club nights at clubs in Stockholm like 2.35:1, Södra Teatern and Slakthuset.
In 2012 the will of spreading her own favorite tunes lead her into the DJ-booth. Her driving, trippy and hypnotic sets has since then taking her to festivals like Exit in Serbia and Volt in Uppsala, as well as clubs like Tresor in Berlin and Pratersauna in Vienna. Lego is also one of the captains on the techno ship Parabel, handling bookings as well as being a part of the label.
✚ Dan Darco ✚
Dan Darco is based in the shadows of Malmö, and is one of those gems from the underground scene who has been striving for justice and prosperity for our music culture. This true local hero has been taking alot of heat for the people's rights to dance over the years since he started to DJ and hosting parties. He has been active in various projects since 2011, but brought life to one of the most astonishing and renowned movements called Malmørave in 2014 where he connected ravers and people from all paths in life and cities into different warehouses around Malmö. He is, for now, holding his residency at his new project Inkognito, where he invites his favourite DJs and producers to share booth with him and his partner BL:ND.
Dan Darco has been playing in various clubs and festivals around Scandinavia, Berlin, and even brought his sound to Nairobi in Kenya to name a few. His musical journey has been very unique and interesting starting at early age where he took notice on drumming and 4/4 beat by his fathers musical background as a drummer in a rockband. He later on found his passion for electronic music starting with drum & bass, moving further on to tech house and then finally found home, proper hypnotic techno.
Connecting more authentic and spiritual dots into music as he constantly explores deeper aspects and dimensions in his vast soundscapes. He always has the mindset to take his listeners with him on a musical ride. His passion and love is not only for the music but for the crowd to share and heal the floor with music that lets you feel free to be you.
