You’d be hard pressed to find contemporary up-and-comers who are as qualified to build on the legacy of the minimal genre as Ne.hau. By utilizing cutting-edge production methods to take calculated creative risks, the DJ/producer duo brings unprecedented dimension to the house and techno spectrum.
With releases scheduled for Superfreq and Denied Music, this duo has been cutting some of the heaviest dance music around.
Each of the outfit’s releases not only demonstrates keen attention to sound quality, but also speaks to a reverence for the process that could only result from genuine musical passion. In addition to crisp stereo imaging, each soundscape features organic and instrumental sounds - and fittingly, they’ve incorporated such elements into their engaging live shows as well.
Ne.hau consists of Danny Marin and Ren Albieri, who hail from Denver and Austin, respectively. When you take into account their combined tenure in the music world, it comes as no surprise that they have achieved such a finely tuned signature sound.

Akin to the mysterious sea anemone, Daniel Allen's sensibilities extend from deep underground straight up to the glimmering surface. Since his start in '89, he's had his tentacles in everything — 80s, drum & bass, house, techno, and all fusions thereof — giving his DJ sets a riveting, tactile quality.
Young junglist Dizzy emerged from Houston’s after-hours spots in the 90s. Then a decade later, with an entire record shop at his fingertips while working at Chemistry, a more cultivated Daniel Allen dove into production. For the last 10 years, he’s continued to mix his palette with unwavering meticulousness, garnering the support of labels Audiophile Deep, BluFin, Bush Records, Harmonious Discord, Headset Recordings, Panhandle Records, Whiskey Pickle, and several others. The last 3 years alone caught the attention of Viva Recordings, Red Ant Records, Picknik, Colour & Pitch, Tilted, Beatamin, Marinated Music, and The Pool House. Still in scope’s view, and swimming deep in A&R, DJing, and a flood of remixes, collaborations and solo work, he’s inevitably delved into live performance — proving that Daniel Allen’s three-decades-deep passion continues to take him, and his listeners, to new frontiers.
Between steering the helm of misfit record label Denied Music and studio work, he can be found at his residencies at renowned Austin venue Plush and Techno Club in New Orleans.

Along the outliers of unexplored cerebral boundaries resides the sonic offerings of Grey Music member (Grey) and Harmonious Discord label front man Sean Anderson aka PointBender. A project focused on thought bending synthetic manipulations and heady melody construction, the PointBender moniker provided an avenue to explore a highly creative fusion of song creation and live performance. After many successful live performances the pieces began to gain a momentum of their own and were later released as projects on labels like Guidance, Thoughtless, Blaq, Pantamuzik, 530Techno, Denied, Subplot and Harmonious Discord. As a label boss, PointBender is focused on showcasing the understated, impressive talent in the state of Texas and plays regularly at area events and showcases. Despite his concentrated efforts to become rich and famous and completely sell out Sean will most likely continue to deliver norm shattering niche releases on some of the industries silent monsters.
