Swoon recordings made a thunderous entrance into the world this April with their first release 'Wicked eyes', and have since continued to set the bar extremely high in their debut year, Unleashing a string of world class releases with support from Solomun, Tale of us, Adriatique, Hot since 82, Eelke Klein, Luciano, and other international heavyweights.
Headed up by Ryan Murgatroyd and a family of like minded, sonically inspired artists who are looking to push musical boudaries and bring back the goosebumps to electronic music, they have a clear and concise sonic vision, which has lit up dancefloors across the world.
Now, to celebrate the end of an epic debut year, they bring the sound of Swoon to their first summer showcase in Cape town. Headlined by a 2,5 hour live collaboration set between label head Murgatroyd and co pilot Mark Valsecchi, and with sets and performances from Kostakis, Avi Subban, Ryan Hill, Rob toca(add djs), this lineup is serious business and will take each patron on a true sonic journey from emotive, cinematic electronica to pumping main room house and techno.
