Can’t believe it’s our second birthday already! Feels like yesterday we were learning how to walk.
Come join us for a boogie upstairs at Angel Music Bar for a celebration into the early hours of the morning along with some of our favourite selectors! We might even get a little Steve Aoki on everyone’s ass and bring some cake as well as a few treats to help with the festivities.

Planète
A creator of deep, rhythmic and emotional sounds. Planète is an artist, a friend and young veteran in the electronic scene that’s been blazing for a while now, supporting heavyweights such a Jon Hopkins, Bonobo, Romare and many more.
We’re so excited to finally have him down for what is a long over due set and we thought there was no better night than for our birthday!
Nice Girl
One of our favourite artists of this year. Nice Girl has stirred the waters around town with her mix of squelchy dance floor heavers and celestial sounds, from her debut EP on Houses in Motion Recordings to a laidback house cut on Public Possession.
Some of our favourite cuts this year and plenty of niceness on the dancefloor.
We can get all agree on that!
And it’s a full on family affair on the supports.
First up with LILY, recently back from a sabbatical in Amsterdam and ready to set fire to booths all around Melbourne.
Bad Charisma, a day one homie for us, who spins records like he’s spinning silk.
Finding Figaro, what can be said about Figaro that hasn’t been said already? If you know us at all, you knew they were definitely going to be making an appearance.
Then we have the residential friends in the house as always.
Babycino, a tall glass of hot milk and always a light touch on the decks.
DJ Yassas, there are many layers to his sets much like a good filo pastry on a spanakopita.
Gin Mendoza, like a fine, herbaceous cocktail, Mendoza has a classic, yet modern take on what he mixes.
Plenty of surprises planned for the night, stay tuned for more, early bird tickets are going for $5, then on the up from there!
House of Friends is a safe, inclusive and open space with an absolute zero tolerance towards any behaviour which makes others feel uncomfortable or that may potentially do harm.

We’re going to donate 100% of the profits of the night to the 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘧 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 & 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴. These are two organisations helping those doing it much tougher than us at the moment and there are links for all those listed below.
We’ll also have buckets and jars set up around the bar for those of you who wish to donate on the night whether it’s a fiver or a few coins, every bit will help. Which we will then evenly distribute to those above charities.
There’s not really much more that we can say that hasn’t already been seen on your Facebook and Instagram feeds, but just remember to reach out to each other and show love, as it seems that most people you encounter will have been affected in some way, whether directly through friends and family or even just the very awareness of what is happening currently.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and rather helpless in a time like this and this isn’t that much in the larger scale of things, but we hope that it can help, even the tiniest sense.
