EYA Records and Where We Met come together in Farringdon. EYA Records is one of London’s best electronic labels. Founded by local digger Jos in 2018, the imprint quickly forged an identity through its love of electro-inclined minimal techno, a sound that’s doubtless inspired by the rare 90s bombs found in Jos’ bag. We’ve been following him on the local scene for a good while now, and with every new weapon in EYA’s back catalogue, Jos is proving the EYA sound is here to stay. Where We Met also join. Operating out of Venice, Where We Met is the brainchild of Riccardo Piazza and Re-UP, two Italian artists who share a similar musical ethos to Jos and his close circle of affiliates. Like many of today’s deep digging DJs across Europe, their record collections reference a wide pool of styles spanning electro, techno, tech house and breaks, sounds that have informed the musical direction of their excellent label. Jos, Re-Up and Riccardo Piazza all land for a night of twisted selections in the depths of Farringdon.
