LDS (London Disco Society) is a DJ collective that draws influence from a broad spectrum of dancefloor rhythms, all of which find their roots firmly in Disco: the genre that mothered all modern dance music.
The crew joined forces in 2011 with a run of intimate parties across London. Now, they regularly headline events throughout the UK, and have supported world class acts such as Joey Negro, DJ Pierre, Horse Meat Disco, David Morales, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Karizma, DJ Alfredo, Crazy P, Nightmares On Wax, Pyschemagik, Faze Action and Bill Brewster.
2019 saw them invited to launch the Nile Rodgers curated Meltdown Festival at the Southbank centre with a stage takeover. They also supported Dimitri From Paris and Soul Clap on a double header at Brixton Electric and played shows spanning Europe and Asia as well as their regular string of festival appearances through the summer.
Known for their ability to read the crowd intricately, they dig deep for their sets and explore everything from the deep and dark to the uplifting and bubbly. They are also unpretentious enough to roll out unabashed sing along Disco bangers with an emphasis on keeping it fun.
