  • JOEY BELTRAM For over the last 20+ years, Joey Beltram is considered one of the pioneers and a legendary producer of Techno and House. He has recorded on many of the biggest labels of the early 90's such as Nu-Groove, Tresor, Warp, Transmat, and R&S records. Much of his music during that time is widely acknowledged as groundbreaking. Beltram has also been heralded as a major influence by many of todays DJ's and producers including Daft Punk (as mentioned in their song 'Teachers'). He has also produced many Techno staples of the 1990's including 'Energy Flash', 'Mentasm', 'Forklift', 'Ballpark' and 'Game Form'. In more recent years Joey Beltram has worked with and remixed artist's and DJ's such as Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Umek, Oliver Huntemann and Steve Lawler. His productions on Harthouse, BUSH, MB Electronic and Drumcode have shown he still has the magic touch in the studio. Beltram has also headlined some of the the biggest Festivals and events worldwide including Nature One, Bonusz Festival, Awakenings, Rock-it open air, Coachella, BLOC, A Day at the Park, Full House Festival and Tomorrowland, to name a few. PHUTEK Relentlessly filling a void within the current underground landscape, he has cemented a staunch reputation already with his unique big room techno flavour, not only within the industry but out there where it really counts, the dance floor! If there were a prize for the most promising electronic artist , Phutek would be an unrivalled contender, with many industry eyes fixed on his next move. Originally hailing from UK party mecca Coventry and somebody who witnessed first-hand the birth of rave at institutions such as Amnesia House and The Eclipse, Phutek’s long and exciting journey is about to find its sole purpose as he strides boldly into the year ahead. Heavily influenced and guided by the likes of the late, great Tony De Vit and Carl Cox, it’s no surprise that his productions and DJ Sets rely heavily on both of their classic fundamentals of depth and energy, to captivate the listener. Phutek’s productions are never far away from the elite playlists of; Cristian Varela, Adam Beyer, Marco Carola, Nina Kraviz, Dax J, Slam, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Richie Hawtin, Luigi Madonna, Danny Tenaglia, Orbital plus many more, and is fast carving out his own exciting legacy amongst his favoured peers. The king himself Carl Cox has proven a consistent vehicle of support, taking the Phutek sound into the global arenas of Awakenings, Timewarp, Space Ibiza, The Burning Man, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland and Cocoon. Not only proving the notion that his productions are designed for the biggest DJ in the world, but also the biggest stages. Carl can often be found vocalising his praise for the Birmingham based production powerhouse and is currently featuring an average of 3-6 of his productions amongst each global set, putting Phutek in a very enviable and exposed position. Timewarp Festival 2015 saw the mighty Cox pepper his 3-hour set with a backbone of 6 individual tracks, thus helping make Phutek one his most played artists. highly acclaimed ‘Edged EP’ become a highlight and one of the best sellers Carl’s leading Intec Digital label, with the track Prodigious being used as the soundtrack to Coxy’s end of year video. Both Awakenings and Kappa Future Music Festival also handpicked Phutek’s music as their annual video soundtracks last year. Further testament to his commodity as an artist right now. Add to this a request from Awakenings for an appearance at their first ever UK show and a diary filling up fast for 2018, the future certainly looks very bright as he garners support from the leading entities of the techno community. With a passion that lies very obviously in the underground, the appeal of his music has been carried much wider in recent times, with a plethora of BBC Radio 1 support from Deadmau5, Eats Everything and Will Atkinson, an exciting time for winning new fans for himself, but also techno music as a whole. Adam Beyer and Carl Cox are also very firm and avid supporters on their weekly Drumcode and Global Radio show respectively, with a relentless stream of Phutek track inclusions spanning five years. Not just a Producer and DJ, Phutek’s infectious personality and seasoned industry experience has proven an invaluable trait in his quest to be at the top of his game. A natural progression also was the launch of his own imprint Layer 909 two years ago, with an ethos of pushing quality and energetic techno music and creating a platform for exciting new talent. Subsequently, the label has gone from strength to strength culminating in an arena hosting last summer for Xstatic Festival (UK), as well as strong press and elite DJ support for their releases, a rising profile, and of course Phutek firmly at the helm. With every success story, there is a moment of realisation, clarity and a tipping point into greater things. The most influential people on the scene have already mapped Phutek’s pathway . Whether that be; Carl Cox, the promoters of Miami WMC, priority support from all the leading download stores or bookings at some of the greatest techno shows on Earth. There will be no escaping this unique and future bound techno artist! JAY TOMMY An overwhelming passion for electronic music has seen this young techno artist grow from humble beginnings, playing from the age of seventeen in local underground clubs, at the same time producing tracks under the guidance of the legend Mark EG at his renowned music school. The result is experience beyond his years and a strong collection of music tested on the dance floor.
