We head to Compressor House in the heart of London’s Royal Docks for the first time, a fittingly industrial setting for a trio of artists operating on the boundaries of experimental music.
Fast rising French producer CouCou Chloe’s heavily processed sample experiments on tracks like ‘Gecko’ and ‘Flip U’ have positioned her as a leader in the ‘post-club’ sound, alongside the likes of Total Freedom, Sega Bodega and Klein.
Her compatriot rRoxymore joins us off the back of a memorable 2019, following the release of her remarkable debut album Face to Phase on Don’t Be Afraid. Sure enough, Pitchfork note that ‘even at its most powerful, the music seems less interested in forward motion than in carving out space for exploration’. rRoxymore will perform live with a percussionist.
A sound artist with an insatiable appetite for evolution, Vessel rounds off the bill with his unique live AV show with Pedro Maia, where he will be performing tracks from his latest creative peak, Queen Of Golden Dogs.
This event is in association with the Royal Docks who have kindly supported the event and allowed us to use their space for a unique one off event.
