The Mine is back at a 300 capacity venue with two rooms to showcase sound system music across 140-170 bpm and we can say - The Volks Nightclub is not ready for this one!
We have invited Bristol's finest Kahn who is true to the traditions of sound system culture with sets full of dubplates and versions to headline the main room and to spice things up we have asked one of the pioneers of grime Flowdan to host his set. America's dubstep ambassador and king of 10" dubplates Joe Nice, Chestplate's Tunnidge, our extended family members Teffa & Mr Tetris, Low End Music's TAKI and The Mine's DUKU & Donga make our line-up one of the strongest to date!
Basement is curated by London's deep drum&bass institution One.Seventy. The room is headlined by Diffrent Music's founder Dexta who is concentrating on the experimental side of the genre and who also together with his partner Lewis has recently expanded 1-800-Dubplate project into Disc World - a Record Shop & Cutting House located in Deptford. He is joined by Silent Dust/none60 & BrandNewTrumpets alongside One.Seventy's Alexander & Rob Vanden.
Both dance floors are powered by custom built setups and sonic journey is led by live 3D visuals by Deximl in the main room!
