Just like that, we've turned ONE. What a year it has been for us, looking back at the past 12 months of shenanigans, fun, sweat, joy and good times.. while throwing the events and parties we love, and with the help of some of the best international, top local talents and of course you! To help us celebrate we have invited one of the best in the game, alongside a stacked bill full of top rising Irish stars, artists and collectives.
Pangaea, aka Kevin McAuley co-founder of the London record label Hessle Audio. Created back in 2007 with close friends Ben UFO and Pearson Sound. The London label has been a pioneer of UK underground music for the best part of a decade, with Pangaea at the forefront of the scene and sounds. His productions, selections and sets have continuously expanded to contain diverse influences of raw techno, house, garage and jungle. These hybrids of sounds are visible on releases for the likes of Hessle Audio itself, Hemlock Recordings and his own imprint Hadal.
Joining him in the basement is Belfast/Rotterdam based DJ, Producer and Footwork founder Kessler Trax. Influenced by a wide pallet of sounds, ranging from B-side vinyls, modern electro, jungle and techno. Early supports for the young artist came from Bicep, Matrixxman, Or:la and much more and supporting slots for names such as Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and Hunee. Eddys radiates a refreshing DIY attitude that odes to the aesthetic accustomed with electronic music's 'golden era' making him a standout artist.
Woozy founder E M A. Her eclectic and euphoric selections are much indebted to her love of UK sound system culture, and this has taken her to Berlin, Manchester, Dublin, Dingle & Leipzig. Having supported some of the very best in the industry and killing her boiler room debut, she's a force to be reckoned with.
The taleneted Wastefellow also joins us for a DJ set in the main room, who is widely considered to be the Elon Musk of Irish music. Wastefellow is a forward thinking producer, dj and songwriter from Dublin and eclectic influences of electronic beats, experimental sounds and hip-hop vibes. Having also joined the Softboy records crew alongside Kojaque, Luka Palm and Kean Kavanagh pushing the boundaries with his sound and visual projects. Last but not least some of the best collectives Dublin has to offer including Human Error, SafeHaus Dublin, FAC Magazine, Soul Purpose and Radio NCAD.
