A new project and a party series Vector by Kiddmisha and Skt is launched on March 6 at River Port club.
The first guest will be Benjamin Stager, a musician from Frankfurt, a city where everything is tied to clubs and music labels. Benjamin is the founder of Osman and Sensual labels, the creator and main driving force of OVAL Distribution, the organizer of a series of parties at the Robert Johnson and Dora Brilliant clubs.
For more than 10 years, Benjamin has been actively involved in the Frankfurt scene. He influenced the development of many artists and, as a promoter, gave impetus to a whole generation of DJs, including Manuel Schatz and Patrick Klein. Here is what Manuel says about this in an interview for Katacult: “I remember my good friend Benjamin Stager from Oval Distribution hosted Funky People parties. He invited headliners from Moritz von Oswald to Raresh and Praslea and gave us a chance to play at the same events. This was the first time when someone put people together like this, and for quite some time he was the only one who supported us. "
Oval Distribution works with labels such as Pager, Sensual, Omega Men, Blank State, Phone Traxxx, Gosu, Overthink, Osman, EXT, TVIR and others. In addition to the iconic Osman and Sensual, there are still indefinite number of white labels (with an unnamed author).
In recent years, Benjamin has performed not a lot as a DJ and devotes most of his time to Oval Distribution management, so our guest’s arrival is a real surprise for the local underground community.
The event will be joined by Slava Komponente, curator of the Kultura Zvuka project, an old-school DJ, owner of an impressive vinyl collection and founder of the Tvir label.
