At one of the edgiest venues in the UK, we have pulled together a dazzling array of musical talent which will send you home buzzing, whether you are new to Leeds or a veteran of our city’s fabled nightlife. - Ralph Lawson played the very first record at the legendary back to basics in 1991 and has been an ever present force in the Leeds electronic music scene, setting up the intentionally renowned 20/20 Vision record label and curating inner city electronic along the way. Although 2020 is far from the year we planned Lawson launched a new project called Exit Planet Earth with a series of records and new show for OpenLab radio focusing on intergalactic space funk and electro, the perfect soundtrack to escape from it all on October 31st... Over the last few years, Kepler has demonstrated his versatility both as a producer and DJ. His unique style of production spans across multiple genres such as minimal, house, techno and UK garage (under his 0113 alias); and his tracks have garnered support from some of the most respected selectors across the globe including Ben UFO, Raresh, Voigtmann, Subb-An, Enzo Siragusa, Seth Troxler, Petre Inspirescu, D'Julz, Ryan Elliott, Truly Madly and more. Reeshy b2b Sara Garvey - all bangerz no clangerz. miss chief nights Sofi is resident dj at the new Signals night and brought her hypnotic and deep selections to to line ups which include huge names like DJ Bone, DJ Stingray and Evan Baggs Jonny Donat came to Leeds in 2012 as a student and captured the party bug which he refined in Ibiza before heading back to his native Cumbria and literally launching a scene there. He is the founder of the Electric Soup nightclub and Soup In The Sticks festival and has spun at festivals such as Kendal Calling and Parklife. As a co-founder of Wallop, Howie Bellafonte and his crew have gone against the grain and, as darker sounds swept across the UK in recent years, aimed to bring back jacking, housier sounds to the city. The riotous reception they receive at every event would indicate they are on to something. The man like Scott Broadhead has held residencies at Leeds staples such as Detatched (who were the first to bring luminaries such as Oscar Mulero, Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann and Shed to Leeds), Future Past, Sunday Roast and his own Means of Escape night.
