Week 4 - What can I do differently? - Allyship in the community
Guilt isn’t enough. Recognising complicity and working to unlearn racist ideologies is gruelling work. Just be thankful a lot of you get to read about racism and not experience it. This session will focus on the vital skills needed to consider allyship; it is not a badge of honour - it’s a way of life.
Crossbreed and Thorn London present 4 workshops dedicated to unpacking Racism in and around the kink scene and working towards developing a better understanding of the everyday realities that Black people face within our community. These events will take place at The Cause, every Wednesday of October, socially distanced. Any profit made from tickets will be donated to Black Curriculum.
Each week we will share resources and reading material, we will discuss in groups and share thoughts collectively, there will be an hour for socialising and further unpacking the topics at the end.
