『エレクトロニックの極致と解放の聖域 Start It Up』
12月11日に〈TREKKIE TRAX〉からリリースされるT5UMUT5UMUのEP「Acid Hazing」は国内外から大きな反響と注目を集めるものになりそうだ。
T5UMUT5UMUは自身が持つ特別な感覚を技術的に音源化させることで現行シーンの中で突出した輝きを放ってきた。LA〈Knightwerk Records〉からのデビューEPをはじめ、ニューヨーク〈Loveless Records〉傘下〈Materia〉や、3月には中国〈FunctionLab〉からリリースされたEP「Incantation」といったセルフリリースやコンピレーションへの提供楽曲の中で、ボリュームのあるユニークなベースラインとリスナーの細胞の隅々に回るような無二のサウンドスケープと狂気を共存させてきた。DJセットでもまた個体・液体・気体と自由に姿を変えるように、深い没入感と共に未知の高みへと導く驚異的なイマジネーション、そして音楽を解放させようと試みる強烈なエネルギーで聴くものの想像の外へと飛躍してきた。
さらにこの日は、同じく〈TREKKIE TRAX〉から発表されるOyubi×CarpainterによるスプリットEPに向けたスペシャルセットの披露がアナウンスされている。「Acid Hazing」でのヴィジュアルプロデュースを務めるJACKSON kakiのVJ/DJでの出演や、アブストラクト・ヒップホップからジャングル、インダストリアルといったハイブリッドな音場を繰り広げる100mado、EMARLEとAI.Uによる幻想空間音楽ユニット0120、UKのベースミュージック/レフトフィールドを軸にマッドに膨張するFELINEといった強烈なラインナップが並ぶ。
そして、昨今円熟味すらみせる〈TREKKIE TRAX〉andrewと、熱狂的なビートへの探求とその複合化を進めるSeimeiの両雄は、オンラインフェスBARRELFESTにて主宰Addison GrooveからのリクエストでみせたB2Bセットを投下するなど、今年最後のStart It Upがドラマティックに燃焼するのは間違いない。
2020年を終わらせる最高のパーティの用意が整った。

The EP「Acid Hazing」by T5UMUT5UMU released from〈TREKKIE TRAX〉on December 11th is bound to create a sensation both domestically and overseas.
T5UMUT5UMU has been thriving in the modern scene with his artistic and unique sensibilities to produce sounds. Since his debut EP from the LA-based label〈Knightwerk Records〉, he went on to release materials on New York’s〈Materia〉, a sister-label of〈Loveless Records〉. Along with self-releases and contributing to compilations, he released his EP「Incantation」on the Chinese label〈FuntionLab〉in March, he has been awing the listeners with unique bass lines with daunting atmospheric sounds. His DJ sets, always changing freely with fluidity, are filled with astounding imagination luring you into the depth of the unknown and liberating the audience with intense energy.
To add to the anticipation, Oyubi x Carpainter will be performing a special set to commemorate their soon to be released split EP. JACKSON kaki, a VJ/DJ who produced the visuals for「Acid Hazing」, will be joining the lineup along with the Abstract/Hip Hop/Jungle/Industrial hybrid master 100mado, EMARLE and AI.U’s unit 0120, and the UK Bass/Leftfield enthusiast FELINE.
Last but not least, TREKKIE TRAX members andrew and Seimei, whom have been requested personally by Addison Groove to perform a B2B set for the online festival BARRELFEST, will be guiding you into another dimension with a special B2B set for this dramatic party “Start It Up” to end the year off.
