A highly regarded live performer and producer, Hannes Bieger has been touring the world since 2018 with his ambitious live show, producing a series of acclaimed releases and a stunning album. Hannes’ journey from producer to engineer, back to producing and live performance has equipped him with the knowledge and ability to operate at the top of his game. In the years since he returned to his solo endeavours, Hannes has notched up several chart-topping singles, widespread DJ support and performances at some of the world’s most prestigious electronic music events, and he has been voted 13th best live act in the world in Faze Mag’s 2020 poll. Determined, driven and downright talented Hannes Bieger is a mixing and production powerhouse with a live show that demonstrates his uncanny ability to channel deep emotion and infectious rhythm into every composition...
Parallel to his production exploits, Hannes has dedicated his time and energy into developing his own live show. Signed to the Analog agency, Hannes has traversed the globe since returning to the scene with his live show debut in 2018, picking up bookings at some of the world’s best-known festivals and clubs including Awakenings (Amsterdam), Fabrik (Madrid), D.Edge (São Paulo), Steel Yard (London), Watergate (Berlin), The Bow (Buenos Aires) and Baum (Bogotá). Over the years he has poured his earnings into a mouthwatering collection of synths. Forming a symbiotic relationship with these machines means the production process always takes place outside the box, with a spirited, physical approach to making music. This technique allows Hannes to be playful, to embrace the physicality of his sounds and immerse himself in the production process, resulting in music that comes straight from his heart and soul.
The same expressive process is applied to his live show, bringing the studio on the road with him, making zero sacrifice in terms of quality to present audiences with a truly live performance on high quality equipment. His set up includes a Moog Sub 37, DSI Prophet-6 and a UA Apollo 8 all played through an SSL board, reinforcing Hannes’ belief that there should be no cutting corners when it comes to live shows.
