Sónar at IDEAL is a concert series resulting from the collaboration between Sónar and IDEAL, for the production and premiere of immersive shows featuring musicians and visual artists.
The first of the shows produced for the occasion will take place on September 16, 17 and 18, 2021. Sónar will premiere in world premiere at IDEAL "Koraal - Magma", the new immersive audiovisual show by producer and DJ John Talabot, together with pioneering visual artists Desilence.
Presented in partnership with We Are Europe, the show promises to be a unique immersive and multi-sensory experience, designed and created specifically for this space, IDEAL, Barcelona’s center for digital arts.
"Koraal - Magma" will be the live world premiere of the album "La Casa del Volcán" released by John Talabot -under his pseudonym Koraal- on the Dutch label Nous'klaer Audio, a concept album that the Barcelona-born artist recorded inspired by the extraterrestrial landscapes of the island of Lanzarote.
