☻ Prison Religion live
Hardcore punk music for club kids and rap fans: Prison Religion is the collaborative project of Richmond-based audio/visual artists Poozy and False Prpht. Since 2016 they’ve been fusing explosive trap music and devastating bass music, drawing inspirations from metal and hardcore punk. Prison Religion is with the experimental Texan label Halcyon Veil, has close ties to Richmond-based NON Worldwide, and have collaborated with like minds and violent spirits Rabit, Endgame, Swan Meat, and Lee Gamble — some of whom worked on Prison Religion’s latest album ‘Blockhead’, released in 2019. The same year saw the band playing their first shows in Europe including performances at CTM Festival, Unsound Festival, Le Guess Who? Festival, Creepy Teepee Festival, and others. “Prison Religion is one of the most hardcore rap-related acts we've heard in years.” wrote Boomkat.
☻ New Magic Media dj set
Punk meets club, roots meet fresh leaves; surprising contexts, and unpredictable associations. New Magic Media is a moniker of DJ, artist, and writer based in Prague. New Magic Media started as a VJ (mostly at the infamous NEONE club) but shortly converted behind the decks. Now she is a resident and community member of Prague's Radio Punctum with her monthly show called Wenom. In this new show and in her sets she reflects more on her free-party and noise/punk roots, inviting a more unsettling, ravey, and techno sound. Her selections circulate between all imaginable soundscapes, providing space for obscurities and surprising twists.
☻ bílej kluk live
Producer, singer, and sonic explorer, bílej kluk is not a name to miss. A prolific producer and audiovisual auteur, Winner of the Newcomer award at Vinyla 2018, he has released numerous projects via Prague’s BCCA System a community label, and a hybrid club/art collective. The multilayered yet carefully designed soundscapes contain subtle pulsing of trance-like synths, which form the bedrock on top of which he embeds his heavily autotuned voice. Although his lyrics sometimes display vulnerabilities that may seem familiar to emo-rap worshippers, the space in which bilej kluk belongs is the psychedelic songwriting of underground ATLien Black kray, the hallucinatory legacy of Glo gang, or the contemporary wave of the German-Turkish trap.
☻ gertie adelaido b2b KISSTEMPERA presents SCRAWLERS dj set
A DJ set based on everything what is left unsaid: Kisstempera (visual artist and Creepy Teepee founder Jakub Hošek) is working with awkward moments in the melancholic garden, unless the broken thorns will jab you with the smell of heart-breaking fragile realness such as forbidden folk blue sadness, screamo-dreamo, contemporary hybrid tunes, spilling in an unapologetic order, so it feels like an isolated temporary flashback. gertie adelaido is an open channel and meta-punk creator through the heart of chaos combining different areas of raw experimental electro, noise, texts and put it into mind blowing concepts with a story of a current feeling behind. Together they create a duo-project SCRAWLERS, combining raw lines between madness and foolness thru the heart of immortal glory, from emo-industrial to high-pitched starcrafts.
