Detroit native, DJ Holographic is known as a “one-woman funk machine.” Totally free and agile as she blurs the lines between genres ranging from funk to disco to techno. Her incredible sets featuring soulful rhythms and house will leave you wanting more. She is a former resident at the after hours Bak Dør at Grenadier Club in Detroit. From playing massive festivals such as Movement (Detroit), BPM (Costa Rica), and Junction 2 (London), to playing streams and clubs alongside Seth Troxler, DJ Tennis, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and Tiga among others, we welcome DJ Holographic to the most intimate dance floor in the District. She will be joined by Shaun J Wright. The Chicago native recently was featured on Detroit Love Vol. 5 released on Carl Craig’s Planet E. Shaun is no stranger to massive clubs as he has frequented major dancefloors around the world including Smartbar (Chicago), Berghain | Panorama Bar (Berlin), Nowadays (New York), and Marble Bar (Detroit) among others.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
DJ Holographic:
DJ Holographic is a one-woman funk machine born and raised in Detroit. Her mission is to serve up a mix of musical cuisine that combines House beats, passionate R&B, Hip Hop, unreserved Disco, true Detroit Techno, and Motown. Join her as she concocts her next rhythmic dish. Having spent these past few years traveling the world and playing for crowds in Berlin, London, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, she has thrilled crowds on hallowed dance floors at Smart Bar, Panorama Bar, Output, and beyond. Featured in print by Mixmag, DJ Mag, and more, top tier DJ's such as The Blessed Madonna and Carl Craig sing her praises regularly.
2020 saw the release of Holographic's debut EP "Parallel Shifting" on her own label Hitchhiker, with more releases to follow. She has also compiled and mixed the next installment in Planet-E's Detroit Love mix album series, which is due out April 16th, with her new single "Faith In My Cup" is out now.
Shaun J Wright
Born and raised in West suburban Chicagoland, Shaun J. Wright spent most of his teen years immersed in the sounds of house music. His love for dance music expanded throughout his high school years as he partook in the underground dance scene now globally known as Juke. While in undergrad at Morehouse College in Atlanta, he developed his skills as a dancer/voguer in professional dance companies and the ballroom scene. After acquiring an MA Fashion Curation, from the London College of Fashion, Wright enjoyed an active career in fashion in New York City. That is where he met Andrew Butler, founder of Hercules and Love Affair, and began a whirlwind collaboration with the ensemble as a vocalist. Currently, Wright is exhilarating dance floors worldwide as a dj and is featured on several acclaimed releases with Stereogamous, Bell Boys, Bobmo, Kiki, Alinka, and System of Survival with more stellar collaborations on the horizon for 2016. He is also finishing his long-awaited solo EP.
