A night of Techno at Club 69 with Johnny Allen, Systematic & Vincent Hamill.
Johnny Allen has been a popular DJ performing for Glasgow crowds for the past 20 years. Playing alongside some of the biggest Techno names in the scene such as Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Matador, HOBO, Heartthrob, Hans Bouffmyhre, Kyle Geiger, James Ruskin & Green Velvet. Johnny is well known for his use of software and hardware effects alongside drum machines which gives a live energy to his sets.
In March 2020 Johnny was asked by Richie Hawtin’s, PLAYdifferently team to record a mix and interview showcasing his capabilities of the MODEL1 mixer, a key part of his live set up.
Systematic (Mathew Young & Robbie Watson) are a firm favourite at the club and have quickly built a name for themselves with their versatile DJ sets, full of energy and groove, always delivering whether warming up or providing sounds made for a peak time dance floor. This year they were asked to play at the respected Platform 18 street Festival, widely regarded as one of the best underground festivals in the country.
