In 2010, his breakthrough performance at 515 Alive allowed him to continually showcase his talents across the Mid-West. As a result of his regular monthly event, Beat Experiments, Jade Reed has become a common name in the Iowa Electronic Music scene.

The goal of Colin Cook Music is to culminate all of the emotional, and physical responses created by the Techno lifestyle. Colin Cook’s influences range from Industrial, Detroit, and Berlin’s heavier underground styles of techno. Combine that with his high energy and unique, “progressive but not too progressive sound.” and it sets him apart from most. His music is more based upon the percussive and bass elements commonly found in an industrial soundscape.
With his first release on Kinesis Records, Colin has pushed the more abstract variance on techno with a dark twist and is a testament to his take of techno.

HIGGY is Adam Higgins, a musician and DJ living in Moline IL. HIGGY's dj experience started in pirate radio soon after relocating from the Quad Cities to Tucson AZ in the late 90s. Returning to the QC in 2012, HIGGY entered the area music scene focusing on house and techno. 2015 saw him as opening dj for house legend Paul Johnson and rising star Dani Deahl. He also currently holds a residency at Analog Arcade in Davenport IA as part of the Just Let Go vinyl collective spinning all styles of music from his vast record collection.

About the Venue:
The convergence will occur at Galleries in the District at 1806 2nd Avenue in downtown Rock Island, Illinois. The full True Love sound system shakes the foundations of this intimate venue. Admittance is restricted to those 21 and over. A five to ten dollar sliding fee donation will be accepted for entry into this event, so give what you can! The best tacos in the Quad Cities will be served until closing time, so show up hungry and wearing your dancing shoes! As always, flow artists & hoopers are welcome. Doors will be opened at 9, music will start at 10.
