CALMA returns after two years of silence to the alternative space of Zapadores Ciudad del Arte on Saturday, March 19. The series of events dedicated to listening electronic music comes back to the chapel of the old barracks with ten hours of uninterrupted music.
Polish artist Aleksandra Słyż and Oisatsana’s premiere are the live bets of this edition. DJ-sets from Antonio Vazquez, Josephine' Soundscapes, Camu, Lato A and Paduan complete the line-down of this horizontal rave.
The conditioning of the listening chamber, the care of sound and visuals are our hallmark to achieve the total immersion of the listener. In addition, throughout the event you will be able to enjoy a carefully selected culinary offer in the indoor catering area.
Aleksandra Słyż was one of the revelations of Unsound 2021 connecting acoustic instrumentation and modular synthesis in her live acts. Tasio Rey (How To Levitate) premieres his new live under the moniker Oisatsana. The horizontal sessions of the Londoner based in Amsterdam Paduan, Lato A, Camu and Josephine’ Soundscapes and a slow rhythmic closing-set by the Sevillian Antonio Vázquez complete the lineup of the return to life of Calma.
