Felix Kubin
Felix Kubin is a composer, creator of radio plays, performer, media artist and curator.
A longtime experimentalist whose career stretches over four decades, Felix Kubin is hard to pin down. Born in Hamburg in 1969, Kubin has been making music since childhood. Felix Kubin lives and works against the gravity with kosmische pop; abstract industrial pieces; radio plays; film and theater music; working with jazz big bands and contemporary ensembles; and devising new music-making machines, Kubin is an omnivorous creator.
As the messenger of exploding lungs he started his label "Gagarin Records" in 1998 and rules the "syndicate of counter-noise" since 9.9.1999. In addition to numerous publications, music releases, workshops and lectures in Germany and abroad, Felix Kubin wrote music for films and theatre productions. He performed at more than 100 international music and media art festivals such as Sónar, Unsound, Transmediale, Wien Modern, Présences électronique and Ars Electronica, but also in museums like MoMA PS1, New Museum of Contemporary Art, La Casa Encendida and Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume.
The French film artist Marie Losier ("The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye") has shot an award-winning docu-phantasma about him that premiered at Locarno film festival in 2019 and has been shown on ARTE TV and film festivals worldwide. Felix Kubin likes to move between high and low culture, clubs and concert halls, as his main concern is the shifting of contexts and expectations.

Typhoon Lady
Typhoon Lady used to appear regularly at Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio with her eclectic Sputnik Sweetheart show. Fast-forward to 2021, and she’s become one of the minds behind a new favourite radio station in our scene: Refuge Worldwide. When she’s not working on their A-game programming, she might be the one behind the decks sharing her cosmic gems. Listening to Typhoon Lady feels like opening Pandora’s box over and over again.

Ozan Maral
Surrounded by music royalty, weirdos and avant gardists since an early age, Ozan Maral out of Istanbul, is a pioneering force to come from the land of four seasons. Having founded Deform Music record store out of Istanbul’s bohemian quarter Beyoglu, he was installed as the booker at music and art establishment arkaoda where he built and maintained an artistic program of kudos and repute for more than 10 years.
Forever faithful to his synth-disco, industrial, new wave and post punk roots, Ozan Maral’s all encompassing vision takes in experimental, abstract and minimal sounds that focus on the brighter and more positive ethics of non-commercial dance music.
