Music & dance has been telling stories & creating culture for tens of thousands of years, and with the proper return of both in our lives, it's never been more important to recognise the history that comes with it, and our privilege to enjoy it.
We’d like to recognise that this event, and all the work done in the organisation of it, takes place on stolen land. We want to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of this land - The Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. We'd like to pay our respect to Elders past, present and future, and hope that all our guests do the same. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
As a show of respect, we'll be offering tickets free of charge to any First Nations people who wish to attend.
