D-Malice D-Malice has been an exceptional talent and ambassador of the ever-evolving music scene. He has released music on leading labels, such as Soul Candi (SA), Offering Recordings, Adaptation, Seasons, Hed Kandi, Defected Records to name a few. Malice runs his own music label, DM.Recordings, which pioneers in delivering great Deep and Afro House music. The Label was hailed as one of the top Afro House labels following the release of D-Malice’s ‘Indian Time’ in 2014. As D-Malice took the scene by storm, becoming a household name to many clubs and festivals worldwide, his music gained the attention or worked with the likes of Black Coffee, Osunlade, AtJazz, boddhi Satva, Jonny Miller, Rancido, among others. Hagan A talented producer with deep Ghanaian roots and UK upbringing, Hagan sits at the intersection of two cultures manifested in creating a progressive sound marinated around African polyrhythms and it’s often unsung influence on European club culture. Having released forward-facing tracks on labels such as Benji B’s new label One Level, Branko’s Enchufada and Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce, Hagan is known for delivering Afro-Bass, tight-knit percussive energy to his music. With a palette of world sounds at his disposal, Hagan’s work has enabled him to release his music and remixes on various labels, with a track collaboration on Sango’s Da Rocinha 4 album for Soulection entitled ‘Espírito Santo’. Hagan’s EP release on Gobstopper, ‘Waves’, is a deep sonic representation of the evolution of his sound, resonating with peers who are taking ownership of their blackness through sound on a global level. Balancing both his darker and lighter sound palettes, Hagan’s latest release on Benji B’s new label, One Level, is a fine blend of cultural sounds and rhythms where infectious bass lines and melodies intersect. His latest EP ‘Forward Focus’ signifies Hagan’s continuous aim to develop his unique take on Black electronic music, working with musicians for an enriched combination of live and electronic textures. Charisse You’ll hear her play South Africa’s soundscape, including global giants Amapiano and Gqom, alongside the many electronic genres birthed by the melting pot which raised her. The multifaceted tastemaker has played a wide span of shows from renowned club nights, to the London Design Biennale at Somerset House, Daily Paper’s London Launch and renowned venues such as Fabric, Village Underground and The Colour Factory. In the spring of 2021, Charisse C met collaborator Koek Sista; fresh from their stellar Boiler Room, headline Southbank Centre, Tate Modern and Fabric London performances, together, they launched 'The Ascension': an immersive live experiment that combines Charisse C’s bass-heavy selections and Koek Sista’s magnetic sound art, to turn every dance floor into a gravitational and unforgettable experience. Known for the stellar curation of #AbantuNoSignal; a bi-weekly show dedicated to representing the vastness of Southern Africa, with a combined effort of music and storytelling.
