A Harmless Deed, el sello discográfico independiente, propiedad de Damián Schwartz y José Cabrera, vuelve a Cadavra Club en su tercera edición con un invitado Steven Julien.
Steven Julien (Funkineven) no es ajeno al groove. En los últimos años, este londinense se ha convertido en uno de los mejores músicos electrónicos del Reino Unido; un técnico hábil y conmovedor, ya sea sentado detrás de un par de platos o de un secuenciador.
Nacido y criado en el oeste de Londres con sangre granadina, sus primeros escarceos rítmicos fueron como bailarín. Empezó como MC y creador de ritmos, pero pronto se puso a trabajar para crear sus propios cortes suaves. Artistas como A Tribe Called Quest o Jaco Pastorius se convirtieron en puntos de referencia habituales y aquellos primeros temas se situaban en algún lugar entre el house, el soul, el boogie y el techno.
Steven publicó su primer EP con Eglo Records en 2009, lo que dio paso a un capítulo más maduro. Dos años después, fundó Apron Records, una incubadora de creadores de música electrónica honesta como Greg Beato y Shanti Celeste.
Junto a él, Damián Schwartz y José Cabrera le acogerán en The Hole.

A Harmless Deed, the independent record label owned by Damian Schwartz and Jose Cabrera, returns to Cadavra Club for its third edition with guest Steven Julien.
Steven Julien (Funkineven) is no stranger to groove. In recent years, this Londoner has become one of the UK's top electronic musicians; a skilled and soulful technician, whether sitting behind a pair of turntables or a sequencer.
Born and raised in West London with Grenadian blood, his early rhythmic forays were as a dancer. He started out as an MC and beat maker, but soon got to work creating his own smooth cuts. Artists like A Tribe Called Quest or Jaco Pastorius became regular reference points and those early tracks were somewhere between house, soul, boogie and techno.
Steven released his first EP with Eglo Records in 2009, which gave way to a more mature chapter. Two years later, he founded Apron Records, an incubator for honest electronic music creators like Greg Beato and Shanti Celeste.
Joining him, Damian Schwartz and Jose Cabrera will host him at The Hole.
