Few Detroit artists made a bigger impact on this sound than *Luke Hess,* whose deeply personal take quickly earned him respect from Omar-S and the long-running Echocord label by 2007, whose support continues to this day. Also head of his own DeepLabs imprint, Luke has never hurt for attention in the D or abroad, and his steadfast determination towards his sound earns him high marks from peers and fans, as do his meticulously crafted DJ sets. Known globally for the revered Aesthetic Audio imprint, on hiatus since 2016, *Keith Worthy* is a Detroit legend of worldwide stature whose complex deep house sound earns him accolades from his peers and the deepest heads and comparisons to figures like Patrice Scott and Marcellus Pittman. Worthy’s style is emblematic of Detroit at its deepest, a sultry, funky combination of deeply stewed grooves that cross boundries between house, techno, jazz, funk, and R&B in true Motown style. Surging back from his own sabbatical since 2019, he returns to take on the world once more and show he is indeed worthy, and we welcome him to Mizz Softee for a rare NYC appearance, his first in too long. One of the leaders of the Pittsburgh underground scene & the wave of gay identified but music-focused events leading a new wave of Midwestern music, *Aaron Clark* plays a pivotal role in both the Iron City and the greater resurgence of nightlife across the region. Founder and honcho of the Hot Mass, Humanaut and Honcho events, all revered names in nightlife worldwide now, his position speaks for itself. His sound is the pure Midwest, a psychedelic collision of house, techno, and everything in between with groove and funk to spare, chiseled through decades of devoted DJing. His increasing presence in NYC, including the recent Honcho Nowadays residency, provides an excellent reason to showcase his talents for Mizz Softee’s deeper vibes. Originally and exotically from Taipei via Hawaii, *Timo Lee* spent the early 2010s as a resident of DJ Harvey’s thirtyninehotel in Honolulu, where as a DJ & radio host she played an influential role in shaping the local scene. Relocated in Brooklyn since 2015, her strong connections to DFA and the local disco and edit scene have brought her to new residencies at Good Room and the recently minted Wax The Van events at Good Bar, where prized local selectors show off their deepest riddims every Wednesday. Mizz Softee residents *Henry Chow* and *Samuel Fish* will round out the bill for this Softee soirée.
