For our inaugural event, we are highlighting one of Chicago’s finest Techno labels, Format Recordings. This event will be debuting three of the the Midwest’s most prolific Underground Techno DJs to the NY scene. Label owners Brenda Curtis and Mark Angel, along with label artists SubXtort and Henry Vengeance and support from NYC’s very own Esthetik Violation, will be showcasing a variety of Hard and Industrial Techno that will be like no other.

Format Recordings has over 45 release in its catalog with artists AXKAN, VRØD, Tim Vitek, Colin Cook, DJ Shiva, Tunnel, Juan Trujillo, Decibel Flekx, Sumerian, and Henry Vengeance to name a few. Format.FM has also been showcasing a weekly podcast with over 300 shows over the last 6 years. The label’s contributions to North American Techno artists and DJs has been a staple for so many throughout the world.
