DJ Erol Alkan is making his FIRST San Francisco appearance here at Vessel! This London-based Turkish electro DJ would sneak out of his home window to play late night gigs when he was only 12! In his early 20s, he co-founded London club Trash, which was known to be the cutting edge of the independent and electronic scenes for the decade. He was also claimed to be the best DJ of the world in 09 according to UK’s TOP Magazine. DJ Erol is also one of the founders of Bastard Pop which is like a fusion of George Michael and Missy Elliot. This year he will be playing at the world-renowned festival Coachella. So come to Vessel for this one night only, and witness the signature Alkan marriage of the electronic and the independent.
