It is July 2017. The crew is *finally* done outfitting the sprawling spooky office floor of a Greenpoint waterfront warehouse. The space is as polished as can be; it is now a legitimate underground club, replete with a main dance floor, a kitchen, an ambient floor, several dark rooms, and even a fake green room for the annoying people you can’t say no to without getting canceled (yes, we were there first!).
It is peak UNTER.
Bookings are also en fuego. In a really ballsy move, the crew goes after Randomer and Clouds, really hoping to make those hard techno nerds go mental and flood their basements.
But things don't go as planned... At the last moment, Clouds falls through, and on the day of the show, the owner of the warehouse is tipped off about the underground club operating on his property. The team is locked out of the space, with the gear, the lighting and sound equipment, the furniture, decor, and custom build all still inside...
What followed can only be described as a gracefully executed, slow decline. But fuck it, we can still get your panties up in a bunch!
😢 ALSO WE KNOW WE SAID THAT THAT WAS IT FOR CHERNOBYL, BUT WE CHATTED WITH THE GOVERNMENT (YES WE SOLD OUT GORL 🙄) AND THEY SAID WE CAN HAVE AN EXTENSH! SO THAT MEANS ONE MORE / PUMP THRU BEFORE THE DEMOLITION 😵
