Darker Than Wax and Spiritual Mental Physical join forces for a September scorcher like no other. Heaps of soul alongside a heavy dose of deepness, the two movements enlist a slamming lineup that activates both spaces in the Good Room.
Firstly in the main room, we're extremely lucky to have Soul 2 Seoul at the helm for the peak of the night. Made up of Detroit-based Turtle Bugg and Brooklyn's very own Chung, they are a rare duo to come across these days since they are now separated by 10 hours of scenic mid western countryside... But if you thought we'd let geographics come between them, us or you- think again! They'll be dishing out their signature blend of groovin machine Funk / bleeped-out Techno and everything in between. Having long studied the art of DJing and what it takes to make a great party, Soul 2 Seoul has put in countless hours behind their label Basement Floor alongside the infamous Sublimate party series, for well over a decade. They really do know what is up!!
Supporting them will be DTW's Marco Weibel and SMP's 4AM NYC who have both been carving out their own unique paths with DJing and event production in New York, London, Singapore and beyond.
Over in the Bad Room we're equally excited to host a live set from Sweater On Polo. The Signal Route boss has been making waves for a minute now. Originally from Delaware, Mali moved to NYC in 2017. He sites the early Chicago sound as a big influence on his original productions, with releases on Haus Of Altr, Fixed Rhythm and, of course, Basement Floor. It's a family affair!
Last but absolutely not least, we have Mawkus + Flora supporting with passionate and sultry dj sets. Ranging through their individual fields of expertise, they'll take you up from Hip Hop, RnB, and Neo-Soul, all the way through to jackin House and the latest Ballroom anthems.
