Having been throwing parties for over nine years in Leeds the guys at Technique know a little about events so it's with some excitement that we see them head to T Bar for the May Bank Holiday weekend. They've got some friends in tow as they head to the capital for this jaunt and with their varied background they've focused on a more house-flavoured approach for their first appearance at the notorious London spot.
Heading from Frankfurt is a lady who's stamped her mark on the international scene over the past couple of years both as a solo artist and as Mara Trax alongside MIss Fitz with lauded releases on imprints such as Oslo Records and Mathias Tanzmann's Cargo Edition. You might have also guessed but she's no slouch behind the turntables either, her groove led sound has seen her become a favourite at Frankfurt's Robert Johnson and of course Monza whilst guesting, well, pretty much everywhere else in the world!
Next up we see a true British hero of ours, Justin Drake, step up. Justin's renowned Peace Division project alongside Clive Henry is arguably one of modern house music's most famed and respected, however to dwell would be serving Drake a huge injustice. As a solo artist Justin has again proven to be as sought after and as impressive in the studio as ever with recent releases for the likes of Tsuba, NRK and No 19 Music. Oh, did we mention that he's one of our favourite DJs too?
Last but not least (by any means) we welcome our old mucker jozif. He's been a busy boy of late, we're just glad he's made time to come and see us. With a rather impressive Wolf + Lamb EP on the way and a host of other releases out and upcoming on some pretty hot labels, it'd be worth the trip down just to see him do his thing!
