Cognition is back with an incredible night of unadulterated techno showcasing one of our favorite record labels, OOM Records, with TWR72, Forum, and Stephen Disario.
TWR72, Amsterdam based artist and founder of two incredible labels OOM Records and Float Records, will be headlining the night fusing together pulsing rhythms, cutting drive and his signature grooves. TWR72 founded OOM Records in 2020 after feeling a need to shine a light on one of his biggest passions in techno, the sound of the late 90's and early 00's high energy loop based groovers.
FORUM is an up and coming US techno producer based in Miami, FL. His sound is immediately distinct, and that has captured the ears of of the techno community at large. His recent release on OOM Records, Power Dynamics, was one of our favorite releases of the year and perfectly encapsulates the high energy groove of the 90s with Forum's distinct point of view.
Stephen Disario, cofounder and resident artist for Cognition, needs no introduction.
OOM Records is based around the high energy vibes of the past fused built for the modern era. This framework has no rules, encouraging us to celebrate our dynamic culture, bringing us back to the golden age of techno.
